Freelance Web Design Services The process of having a website designed starts with you. Would you like to have a website designed? If you are unsure or have some questions to ask before you take the first step, contact me and we can discuss your requirements. If you've already decided to go ahead - that's great. Below is an outline of the costs involved. You'll notice that because I am a Freelance Web Designer the costs involved are a lot less than many of the web design studios around.
The Outline of My Web Design Process If you would like to have a website designed, please choose one of the above packages: Basic, Standard or Complex. If you are unsure, don't worry, you can proceed without choosing a package and the costs will be calculated based upon your individual requirements. The next thing you need to do is fill out a Web Design Proposal (link coming soon). A web design proposal provides me with all the information I need to know about the design of your new website and any other requirements you may have. You are in no way obligated to pay anything at this point. After I have received the proposal I will reply to you via email with a quote. It is at this point you will need to make the decision to continue with the website design or not. Please note, quotes are only valid for 14 days. If you are happy with the quote, you will be supplied with a basic contract to sign and be required to make a 40% deposit of the overall project cost. With the contract signed and deposit made, you will be expected to supply all website content in the form of Word Documents, with each page of the website as a seperate document. I can now begin to design your website and you will be sent via email a screenshot of this design when it is done. From here, you will detail any changes that you would like made to the design and I will re-work the image until you are satisfied. Once the design is complete, I will build your website. When all pages are built, you will be sent the URL of a live demo. At this point you are free to make known any small changes that you would like - otherwise, your website is finished and the outstanding 60% of the overall project cost is payable. Don't have time to wait for a quote? If you know what you want and it fits into one of the above packages: Basic, Standard or Complex - you are more than welcome to make your deposit now in order to speed things along. Making a deposit will move you closer to the front of the waiting list and is the best option for websites that need to be designed and built in a rush. Please be sure of your decision as the deposit is not refundable. Alternatively the deposit can be made via PayPal. Please send all PayPal deposits to freelancer@ashleighjames.com. |
